Safety
Safety is central to our culture.
Safety is a priority when it comes to keeping our staff, clients and communities safe. As well as implementing strict compliant systems, we promote safety at every level through both team and personal accountability, clear communication and careful planning. Third party accredited to AS/NZS 45001, we have the systems, processes and procedures in place to safely perform every task.

Environment
We are committed to minimising our environmental impact.
The ecosystem, its health and function are at the forefront of our approach. Third party accredited to ISO 14001 certification for Environmental management, we support comprehensive risk management systems, comply with all legislation and actively pursue suitable work practices to support the environment. That includes implementing initiatives to address issues such as dust, noise and water management which can have an effect on the environments within and surrounding our sites.

Our business plays an active role in the local community.
Living locally to the regions we service, KCE are invested in our communities for the long haul. We believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Our goal is to collaborate openly with the local communities of the regions we service, creating clear communication pathways for updates and feedback.
Passionate about doing our part to support neighbourhoods across Newcastle, Hunter Valley, and Tamworth (Northwest and New England) we also sponsor a variety of local initiatives ranging from the Westpac helicopter service to sporting teams, charities and fundraisers.

Over 230+ staff strong, KCE’s personnel are paramount. Prioritising professional development, we support our employees and subcontractors to up skill through nationally-recognised training courses. What’s more, we’ve partnered with Australian Training Plus to provide specialised on-site training to plant operators and construction workers. With clear skills grading, all field construction staff can set structured goals.
KCE also offers undergraduate roles and graduate opportunities to help civil engineering students kick start their careers. Beyond facilitating further education, we reward hard work and offer exciting opportunities to motivate our valued team.
