Windella Ridge Estate Stages 3-6
Overview:
Located in Rutherford and following successful completion of Stages 1 and 2, KCE progressed to complete the remaining four stages of Windella Ridge Estate. A total of 61 fully serviced rural residential lots were created as well as minor upgrade and safety improvement works to the nearby New England Highway intersection.
Scope of work:
- Demolition works and clearing
- 6,000m3 earthworks
- 840m of new roads and drainage
- Concrete access ways and pathways
- Utilities installation (including water, sewer, electrical, telstra and gas)
- Minor upgrade, resurfacing and safety improvements to the River Road / New England Highway intersection
Highlights and challenges:
- Completion within budget and ahead of program
- Controlled construction footprint resulting in reduced disturbance and reinstatement to assist sales
- Management of cut and fill to achieve onsite balance and minimise cost to the client
