MacDougall Business Park is situated North West of Singleton adjacent to the existing Maison Dieu Industrial Area. KCE have completed multiple stages of this estate, which boasts high profile frontage to the New England Highway.
Scope of work:
- Bulk earthworks
- 1.4km of new roads and drainage
- Large water quality control ponds
- Extensive site regrading and lot preparation
- RMS intersection, major road upgrade and intersection including traffic signals
- Bulk earthworks, site levelling and retaining for Bunnings Warehouse
- Utilities infrastructure including water, sewer, electrical and communications
Highlights and challenges:
- Re-use of excavated rock materials in retaining, scour and erosion protection works
- Cooperative approach to challenges in cost and scope adjustments required by RMS
- Traffic management of New England Highway for complete road reconstruction
- Responding to changes in sales and marketing to match purchaser specific requirements
